    Description
    The Menace is looking for highly motivated college students interested in being a part of the United Soccer League team in Des Moines. The ideal candidates will demonstrate initiative, the ability to multi-task, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. This is a paid, full-time summer position.

    • Assisting in the operations, registrations, and marketing of Junior Menace, Menace tournaments, and Menace camps.
    • Leading projects and initiatives to foster the growth of soccer in Des Moines and Central Iowa
    • Assisting in the management of three websites, web stories, and social-media initiatives to promote Menace youth programming.
    • Assisting in the management of two registration platforms
    • Supporting the growth of soccer by working with the Menace's affiliated youth clubs.
    • Leading community outreach initiatives, including player appearance scheduling, fulfilling donations, and growing the Menace's Kick 4 Kids program.
    • Coordinating youth soccer camps including the staff scheduling and communications to participants.
    • Work Menace home matches in May-August. This includes full-day dedication to game-day set-up, servicing fans during the match, and post-game tear down.
    • As available, assisting with the Menace's youth tournaments in early May
    • Other projects and duties as directed by management.

    Qualifications
    • Knowledge and interest in soccer and sports.
    • Ability to problem solve and think on the fly in a fast-paced (sometimes chaotic) environment
    • Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong communication and writing skills.
    • Proven team player who is willing to work long days, nights, and weekends
