    PMO Project Manager

    We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated PMO Project Manager to join our team and support our federal customers rapidly evolving application portfolio.

    As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing stakeholder management, portfolio management, project planning including milestone management, and risk and issue management.

    Integral to delivering these responsibilities will be financial management, maintaining risks, issues, assumptions, actions logs; resource forecasting; dependency management; and program reporting.


    Position Overview:


    The PMO Project Manager will be a key contributor to our contract focused on swiftly delivering a range of capabilities within the application portfolio.

    The successful candidate will combine technical and functional skills to support the components of federal agency's IT and customer input.

    This role requires expertise to provide cross-office collaboration and manage enterprise-wide initiatives.


    Responsibilities:
    Ensure the successful implementation of the PMO's strategy, responsibilities, services, and deliverables.
    Develop repeatable methodologies and processes to track, monitor and report on initiatives/project status.

    Facilitate and support IT executive and/or senior management-level coordination groups/meetings, as needed, to include preparation and dissemination of agendas, meeting minutes, analyses, and presentations.

    Plan and strategize activities and coordinate assigned actions to stakeholders.

    Develop associated templates and PM tools (e.g., Smartsheets, GoogleSheets, Microsoft Project), which may also include development of dashboards and/or Google Sites.

    Provide and maintain a capacity planning and resource tracking service across the program.
    Update and maintain the Risk Log, Action Log, Decisions Log, and Issue Register.
    Perform project intake and prioritization, risk management, and linkage to strategic direction and performance results activities.
    Ensure cross-program dependencies are managed and the dependency log is accurately maintained.
    Coordinate project closure to distil good practice and ensure lessons learned are logged.
    Build cohesion within the team and motivate team to produce quality work.
    Define and embed project control and governance.
    Provide Project planning, Milestone management, Scope management, Resource forecasting;
    Financial Management; Change Management across the project portfolio
    Prepare regular status reporting for the engagement leadership.
    Support PMOs with agile coaching to improve general program management.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

    Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling and closing projects and the ability to manage a project and its components simultaneously with minimal supervision.

    5-8 years of experience

    managing a PMO office.
    Experience of project management using AGILE methodology for medium to large sized projects.
    Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and program plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies.
    Highly efficient in resource planning and tasks assignment.
    Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning.
    Highly proficient IT skills in

    Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS project .
    Excellent written/oral communication skills

    for reports and presentations.
    Diplomatic ability to influence others at all levels of the business.
    Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
    Ability to competently mediate disagreements and negotiate agreeable resolutions.
    Experience of project level financial management.
    Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
    U.S. Citizenship and an active HSPD-12 (Public Trust) Clearance .
