***Role description:***

As the **Marketing Operations Manager** at Upstart, you will **own the strategy and execution of our marketing automation platform with a focus on lead management, email automation and database segmentation.** In addition, you will partner with the marketing and sales team to plan, configure, and launch marketing automation and marketing analytics platforms and tools. This requires a technically minded, process-driven, results-focused individual who can liaise with our IT, Legal, and Sales Ops teams to clearly articulate priorities, gaps, pain points and translate those into functional operation requirements . The person in this role must have strong project management skills necessary to prioritize and execute on multiple projects with crucial due dates to ensure our marketing campaigns launch on schedule.

***Position Location -*** This role is available in the following locations: Remote #LI-REMOTE

***Time Zone Requirements -*** This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones.

***Travel Requirements -*** This team has regular onsite collaboration sessions. These occur up to **3 consecutive** days per **Month** at the **San Mateo, CA office**. If you need to travel to make these meetups, Upstart will cover all travel related expenses.

**How youll make an impact:**

Bring operational efficiency to the marketing team by owning the technical setup and maintenance of marketing programs and tools (e.g. Hubspot, Salesforce, Google Ads, Linkedin Ads.)

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and sales operations to evolve marketing automation best practices.

Help manage execution on campaign creation, email drips, lead list uploads, and marketing tools integration.

Partner with Sales Ops to manage and optimize end-to-end lead management processes, including database hygiene, lead scoring, lead routing and nurturing.

Become a trusted subject matter expert and bridge between Marketing and IT, with the ability to clearly articulate priorities, gaps, pain points and translate those into functional operation requirements.

**What were looking for:**

Minimum requirements:

+ 5+ years of B2B marketing experience either in marketing operations or sales operations.

+ 3+ years of Marketing Automation Platforms and CRM, Hubspot and Salesforce

+ Experience working with and/or managing cross-functional teams.

+ Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Certification in Hubspot, Salesforce, Marketo, or other martech systems.

+ Certification in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Linkedin Ads or similar platforms.

+ Experience with managing and executing email nurture sequences.
