    Job DescriptionJob Posting: Maintenance Supervisor

    San Antonio-based Embrey Partners LLC is a diversified real estate investment company that owns, develops, builds, acquires, and manages multifamily residential communities and commercial assets in targeted markets across the United States. Since 1974, Embrey has developed nearly 43,000 apartments and more than 6 million square feet of commercial property. Embrey is a leading developer in the multifamily sector with more than 4,000 units under construction.

    Team Embrey is looking for a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR to support our Property Management team.

    As a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR, you will contribute to the increase of retention rates and occupancy percentages through maintenance and improvement of the physical property.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure compliance within the maintenance team.
    • Improve processes and find efficiencies in workflow.
    • Troubleshoot and implement cost saving techniques and recommend improvements.
    • Lead in the management, training, and retention of quality employees.
    • Consistently review pending work orders and allocate appropriately.
    • Maintain monthly and yearly budget overages.
    • Facilitate property maintenance issues, including scheduling regular maintenance and repair, negotiating contracts with vendors, and conducting property inspections.
    • Review turn and make-ready schedule and delegate work to proper work groups.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in Property Maintenance
    • Experience utilizing Yardi, preferred
    • 3 years experience as a Manager/Supervisor
    • HAVC certified
    • Pool certification
    • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
    • Valid Driver's License

    Required Testing

    • Criminal Background Check, Non DOT Testing, MVR

    Position type: hourly, full-time with competitive pay & benefits (including healthcare & 401k); Position location: Austin, TX; Reporting: direct to Community Manager.
