Owned by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, half of the joint venture behind the Vineyard Wind 1 project, Vineyard Offshore is focused on developing projects that will deliver clean, renewable, and cost-effective offshore wind power around North America.
In addition to Vineyard Wind 1, Vineyard Offshore currently owns three additional US lease areas that together can generate at least 3.5 gigawatts of offshore wind energy to power a minimum of two million homes along the Northeastern, Mid-Atlantic and Northern California coasts.
A little bit about the department:The Finance team plays a pivotal role in overseeing core functions like accounting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and project finance.
Our focus is to drive strategic partnership with the core business by managing costs effectively and achieving financial stability and transparency while supporting and empowering professionals on multiple projects at different phases of development.
The team is focused on its fiduciary responsibilities to our internal stakeholders, investors, and regulatory authorities.A little bit about the job:

What you'll do:
Collaborate across functions to gather relevant financial data and assumptions, ensuring monthly, annual, and long-term goals
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the annual budget
Lead the overhead cross-charge process to the projects
Analyze variances between actual financial results and budgets/forecasts, highlighting key drivers and potential areas of concern
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational and financial data, providing recommendations for optimization
Prepare and distribute regular management reports/ KPIs to key stakeholders, providing insights into the organization
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data and reports
Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting tools, and analytical techniques to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
Minimum of three years of progressive experience
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization, including executive levels
Authentic curiosity, proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills, including being comfortable giving presentations
Capable of managing multiple project workstreams across the development portfolio
MS Office 365 proficiency, including intermediate-level Excel skills
We follow a hybrid work model; must be able to work office a minimum of three days per week in our Boston office
