    Overview
    Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the field of information security? VTG is seeking dedicated professionals at various experience levels (Level 2, 3 & 4) for the position of Security Control Evaluator (SCE) to join our dynamic team. This position will provide crucial INFOSEC A&A support throughout the lifecycle of NRO programs, serving both Contractor and Government systems that process NRO information.

    What can you expect in this role?

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate and assess security controls for systems processing sensitive information.
    • Guide and collaborate with both industry and Government personnel to ensure compliance with acquisition requirements.
    • Provide comprehensive risk management strategies for IT solutions.
    • Develop, implement, and refine security-related directives and guidance.
    • Support assessment activities and provide IA support to team members at varying SCA levels.
    • Prepare detailed technical reports and correspondence.

    Requirements:
    All candidates must possess a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

    Level 2 SCE:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer engineering, INFOSEC, cybersecurity, information management, or computer science) OR relevant experience as follows: 3 years with a BS, 5 years with a High School diploma, 4 years with an Associate's degree, or 2 years with a Master's degree.
    • Technical project management experience.
    • Familiarity with information assurance (IA) concepts.
    • Knowledge of vulnerability assessments for software and hardware products.
    • Experience with security assessment and authorization (A&A) processes.
    • Proficient in evaluating cloud-based systems (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
    • Able to write effective technical reports and general correspondence.
    • Hold an IAM Level I certification: CAP, CompTIA Security, GSLC.

    Level 3 SCE:

    • 5 years of experience with a BS Degree OR 7 years with a High School or Associate's degree OR 3 years with a Master's degree.
    • All qualifications from Level 1 and Level 2.
    • IAM Level II certification: CAP, CASP, CISM, CISSP (for Associate), GSLC.
    • Ability to manage and track systems or programs in the A&A process.
    • Experience developing and implementing security directives.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

    Level 4 SCE:

    • 10 years of experience or a higher degree OR 15 years with a High School or Associate's degree.
    • All qualifications from Levels 1, 2, and 3.
    • IAM Level III certification: CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP.
    • Capability to manage multiple large-scale systems or programs effectively.
    • In-depth understanding of IT systems, software, and networks.

    Compensation:
    VTG offers an estimated starting salary range of $140,000 - $210,000 annually, which may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and market considerations. An offer may also reflect contractual requirements that influence the final amount.
