    Description

    Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer to join a federal program in Cary, NC. This position is hybrid , requiring work to be performed 2 days per week onsite. The Technical Writer will maintain and refine critical documentation for high-performance computing connectivity projects.

    **This role requires an active Secret Clearance**

    Responsibilities of the Technical Writer include:

  • Manage and oversee the version control of policy documents.
  • Analyze and evaluate policies, procedures, and operational directives pertinent to the DREN mission objectives and projects.
  • Provide editorial support by reviewing and refining content for grammar, coherence, and stylistic consistency.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create and refine program-related documentation.
  • Conduct regular reviews of existing documentation to ensure alignment with current standards and requirements.

    • Qualifications for Technical Writer include:

  • IAT1 certification required.
  • Possess a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in technical writing specifically for government projects, coupled with outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on clarity and detail.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate independently or collaboratively within a team, showing initiative and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Must hold an active Secret Clearance.

    • Compensation for the Technical Writer includes:

  • Salary Range: $55,000-$62,000 ***Depending on Experience***
