    The Opportunity: The Marketing Operations and Engineering team sits within the Growth Marketing and Insights (GMI) organization and is responsible for the data architecture, transformation, and engineering needs of the entire organization. This includes managing backend data for various marketing measurement tools and processes, including attribution, product and customer segmentation, lifetime value, and more. We are looking for an Engineering Lead who will be responsible for managing the data that makes the team's work possible. You'll work with business analysts and data scientists to scope requirements for new models, build data pipelines, optimize ETL processes, ensure data integrity, and find opportunities to add efficiency and automation to everyday tasks. You'll own the data platform that powers Adobe's marketing models as well as other marketing measurement and reporting tools used at every level of the company. What you'll do: We are seeking a proven contributor who will provide support in data engineering, building data assets, and software applications. This individual should be able to provide technical direction and system architecture advice for individual initiatives.
    • You will collaborate with key partners and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Process including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design.
    • You will play a meaningful role in crafting high-level design artifacts.
    • You will also deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing, and support activities related to implementation and transition.
    • Lead the effort to restructure the database to better meet the needs of data scientists and business analysts across the organization.
    • Scope requirements, connect data sources and build ETL processes to support new products and routes to market as the team expands campaign measurement products/models Adobe's B2C and B2B business units
    • Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Sales teams to maintain data integrity and perform root cause analysis when discrepancies arise in the data.
    What you'll need to succeed :
    • BS/MS in Computer Science with 9+ years of data engineering experience
    • ETL or Pipeline design/implementation with Large Distributed Databases
    • Experience with Spark, Databricks, Airflow and related Big Data technologies
    • Expertise in SQL, Python.
    • Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
    • Extensive knowledge of Linux Administration and Engineering (Ubuntu & Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
    • Sound knowledge of UNIX and shell scripting
    • Experience and passion around data-driven development
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
    • Experience in marketing domain is a plus
    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
