    TSR is seeking an Electrical & Instrument Engineer to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country.

    This is a long-term contract position located inRichmond, VA.

    Summary of Responsibilities


    Responsible for study, design, specification, and services related to electrical systems including power generation, power systems performance and control, cabling and wiring, lighting, motor control centers, communication systems, cathodic protection, grounding, lightning protection, heat tracing, etc.

    Responsible for design, specification, selection and services relating to instrumentation and control systems including basic process control systems, safety systems, control panels, analyzer systems,

    telecommunications,

    field instrumentation, valves, etc.

    Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems

    Minimum of 3years of professional working experience

    The candidate must have a complete understanding of instrumentation and control system design

    The candidate must have a complete understanding of electrical system design; Have good understanding and knowledge of industry codes and standards (NFPA/NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, API, and ASI)
