    Overview

    A growing Diagnostics company is seeking Research Associates to join their expanding team. Candidates should hold a BS Degree and have a minimum of 4 years of industry experience.


    Responsibilities
    • Designs a variety of experimental protocols.
    • Conducts bench experiments; records detailed observations and data analysis.
    • Carries out research and development tasks for products, methods, or processes to ensure manufacturability.
    • Produces GMP lots and contributes to process characterizations for reagents transitioning to Manufacturing.
    • Prepares technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
    • Maintains precise and complete records.
    • Receives guidance from senior members on routine and new assignments.

    Recognized as an expert in the field, the Research Associate III is involved in identifying and implementing process improvements and documenting activities with potential for publication or patents.


    • Works on complex problems requiring a detailed evaluation of various factors.
    • Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques within established practices and policies.
    • Participates in cross-functional technical teams and contributes to project planning.
    • Thrives in a team environment, offering creative solutions and input for project success.
    • Trains others in specific areas of expertise.
    • Troubleshoots issues and implements corrective measures.
    • Presents experimental procedures and results to group and project teams.
    • Ensures work quality and advocates for Quality First Time.

    Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree in Science.
    • Minimum 4 years of industry experience.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Proficient in basic and specialized laboratory techniques.
    • Adept at researching scientific literature for specific topics.
    • Skilled in word processing, spreadsheets, and graphical software.
    • Familiar with manufacturing processes and scientific literature search.
