    **Director of Nursing (DON) / RN Unit Supervisor - Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care**

    **Job Description:**
    - Lead and inspire a team dedicated to providing exceptional nursing care in a Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care Facility.
    - Oversee daily nursing activities, ensuring high standards of care and promoting excellent patient outcomes.
    - Develop and maintain departmental objectives and nursing policies to align with best practices.
    - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans for residents.
    - Foster an environment that respects and upholds residents' rights and choices.
    - Monitor and enforce infection control practices to ensure a safe environment.
    - Prepare and manage departmental budgets while maintaining expense records.
    - Provide consultative direction and expertise to continuously improve nursing services and quality assurance programs.
    - Organize continuing education for staff to enhance their skills and competencies.
    - Serve as a patient advocate and resource for families and interdisciplinary staff.
    - Complete, evaluate, and report monthly quality data related to resident care.

    **Education and Experience:**
    - Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
    - BSN required upon hire.
    - 2-4 years of supervisory experience in long-term care nursing or demonstrated leadership in a related facility.
    - Knowledge of reimbursement systems and State and Federal Regulations in Long-Term Care.

    **Certification and Licensure:**
    - Licensed as an RN in the state of practice.
    - Approved CPR certification required within 90 days (other certifications per unit requirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP).
