- Review OEM requirements with regard to warranty and provide feedback to sales team.
- Ensure that warranty data and filed return parts are analyzed with regard to potential product safety issues.
- Support and participate in warranty contract negotiation with OEM and with SMP sub tiers
- Train plant warranty team in warranty requirements
- Audit plant warranty process to ensure compliance to legal, OEM and SMP requirements
- Measure warranty process performance and define with plants countermeasures
- Maintain generic stage 1 and stage 2 test plans
- Oversee the technical factors for standard warranty processes are in place in all plants
- Collect the information for seral claim binder
