Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Philadelphia, PA

Job Function:
Evening shift and Night Shift.
3pm- 7am.
Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life‑threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high‑intensity interventions.
Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations,
Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed.
Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures,
Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation

assistance).
Maintain

accurate

and

timely

documentation in the EMR.

Job Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

(BSN).
Current RN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain).
2

years of

Emergency Room RN experience is

required.
BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC

certifications

from the American Heart Association

are

required.
