    We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team at Absolut Center.

    The RN Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents and providing leadership and support to the nursing staff.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
    • Coordinate and oversee nursing care activities on assigned shifts to ensure compliance with established standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, monitor care delivery, and address any issues or concerns.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
    • Assist with the assessment and management of complex resident cases, including medication administration and treatment interventions.
    • Mentor and support nursing staff, providing guidance, education, and feedback to promote professional growth and development.
    • Participate in staff meetings, in-service training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to resident care, staffing, and incidents.
    • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff members.

    Requirements:
    + Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with NYS licensing board. + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted. + Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting. + Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. + Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure. + Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred. + CPR certification required.
