- Provide engineering and 3D Revit support for multiple projects that include HVAC and plumbing.
- Perform HVAC load calculations, ductwork static pressure calculations, and pump head calculations.
- Performs detailed phases of engineering work on major projects or total engineering work on projects of smaller or moderate scope.
- May devise new approaches and solutions to problems encountered and communicates changes to the team.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of less experienced engineers and designers and be responsible for checking a portion or all of the drawings completed on the project within the discipline.
- Take part in client contact and business development activities.
- Meets with client to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction.
- Write portions or all of the specifications and assist in or prepare total cost estimates.
- Develops engineering concepts and presentations.
- Coordinates work with other disciplines.
- Keeps current on new design methods and ideas.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college program, which qualifies for licensure in the state of Tennessee, is required. Licensed in multiple states is a plus.
- PE, plus six (6) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s) required.
- Experience with, and the ability to size HVAC equipment, duct equipment, and utility piping systems and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge and experience using REVIT, as well as Microsoft Software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Commercial projects is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
