    Data Product Manager, Latin America Region - IDS2008

    Overview

    The Identity Verification Data Strategy team is looking for a Data Product Manager to drive data performance and new data products in the Latin America region.

    The ideal candidate is energized by solving challenging technical and business problems and is experienced partnering with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, in the Latin America region.

    This role requires a highly motivated and intellectually curious person with demonstrated success driving a long-term program strategy. The program outcomes are well defined but the execution plan is not.

    This role will pioneer new ways to use data in the region and improve our customer's ability to fight fraud.

    Role

    In this position, you will:
    Plan and manage initiatives from inception through successful delivery to impact data and product performance for our Latin America customers
    Independently identify and research anomalous performance within the data portfolio and partner with the engineering and product teams to develop solutions
    Deeply understand the products that your data powers and address product issues by debugging data flows, troubleshooting with data providers, and communicating findings with market-facing teams
    Proactively communicate progress, risks, issues, and actionable updates to dependent teams in an actionable manner
    Serve as a technical expert and share specialist knowledge to cross-functional teams to advise business partners on LAC data-related issues and decisions
    Manage data sourcing strategy and influence product/engineering roadmap to improve data performance in the LAC region
    Incorporate feedback from cross-functional stakeholders in Legal, Data Privacy, Finance, Product, and Sales to identify the right data partners and prioritize the most impactful projects
    All About You

    The ideal candidate for this position:
    Clearly communicate in English in written and oral communication across the corporate hierarchy (fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred)
    Extensive experience developing and nurturing relationships, serving as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
    Track record of managing multiple parallel initiatives to drive the overall program strategy
    Detail oriented and impact-driven working style to communicate progress, risks, issues, and next steps to dependent teams, stakeholders, and executives in an actionable manner
    Experience developing implementation plans with engineering and product teams
    Demonstrated success building relationships and delivering results with global, multi-cultural, and remote teams
    Experience working with complex data flows and architectures, demonstrating an ability to influence engineering roadmaps to improve products

    Preferred:
    experience working with data brokers and data vendors in Latin America
