- Advanced knowledge of the existence and competency of financial systems and procedures to comply with GAAP, and company procedures to guarantee the integrity of financial reporting.
- Perform various accounting activities focusing in the areas of financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and fixed assets accounting.
- Prepare general journal entries for various transactions during the month.
- Prepare well supported general ledger account reconciliations.
- Collect and file sales tax forms from vendors and outside customers.
- Oversee and manage the cost involving the companys inventory operations.
- Oversee payroll and accounts payable.
- Manage client invoicing and associated collection processes.
- Supervise and coach the current staff in the finance department.
- Direct the month end, forecasting and planning processes to facilitate the timely and accuracy of results.
- Direct the efforts with sales to further develop and utilize the existing sales/order system to provide better analysis and reporting.
- Identify areas for financial process improvement and lead the improvement efforts.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards.
- Ability to discover, own, and drive critical issues to resolution, a sense of urgency, and tenacity is required.
- Thorough understanding of project management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Masters degree
