    Our client, a major Food and Beverage Manufacturing, is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team.

    As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all warehouse department functions, including overseeing forklift operators, team leads, clerks, layer pickers, scheduling, and inventory management.

    You will also equip and train our personnel appropriately.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Foster a secure working environment for our employees.
    • Ensure that warehouse staff receive adequate training and adhere to plant and safety, Food Safety, GMP, and sanitation regulations.
    • Actively participate in the Management Team and collaborate closely with the Food & Safety Defense Team to develop optimal practices for our facility.
    • Play a crucial role in our facility audit team.
    • Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Manager to promote and exemplify continuous enhancement within the facility.
    • Develop an annual department budget.
    • Uphold stringent safety standards, conduct audits, enforce safety policies, and guarantee the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Adhere to and enforce all Wis-Pak policies and procedures.
    • Provide comprehensive training to personnel for efficient operations.
    • Oversee department personnel, delegate tasks, and establish work schedules.
    • Ensure efficient loading, unloading, and traffic management.
    • Maintain and service forklifts and dock equipment.
    • Keep records and procedures up-to-date.
    • Ensure the accuracy of paperwork and inventory management.
    • Implement proper rotation of full goods and raw materials.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is a mandatory requirement.
    • A degree in logistics/warehousing or a minimum of 5 years of warehouse experience is essential.
    • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
    • Proficiency in math, verbal and written communication is required.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving ability is a must.
    • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are expected.
    • Experience with inventory management system software is preferred.
    • Compliance with all safety regulations and rules, setting an exemplary standard.
    • Adherence to all Food Safety Plan practices and guidelines.
