    Description

    Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Strides Therapy & Educational Services, a reputable and client-centered pediatric multidisciplinary practice in Maryland.

    Position Overview:

    As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions to children with speech-language and/or feeding/swallowing disorders. Our ideal candidate is a passionate and knowledgeable team member who is looking to grow their clinical skills in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Complete formal evaluations, develop plans of care, plan and conduct therapy sessions, complete progress reports, discharge summaries, educate family and caregivers, communicate with families and team members as needed, collaborate with our/client's multidisciplinary team, cleaning/sanitizing of used materials, keeping workspace tidy
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, experience in private practice or outpatient settings preferred, knowledge of insurance billing and documentation practices is a plus, dedication to providing culturally competent and client-centered care

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
    • Maryland state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) unless a Clinical Fellow
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
