    The Software Engineer - POS and Payment is responsible for providing analytical, development, and configuration support for our Point of Sale (POS) and Payment Applications. We seek those whose ultimate goals are to contribute to moving forward with the latest technologies that POS systems are adopting such as Mobility, Digital Integration, Electronic Payments, Promotions Execution, etc.

    What you will do:

    ? Review, plan and support implementations, technical changes and package deployments to the Point of Sale, Payment and supporting environments

    ? Assist with the integration of new hardware or software features, including new products or services

    ? Partner with the field support team on unique store issues that arise

    ? Investigate, troubleshoot and solve problems across various retail environments and systems

    ? Support the introduction of new technologies and products within the store sales channel

    ? Develop programs or scripts according to specifications and established coding standards

    ? Analyze, review and test programs and scripts for accuracy and optimal performance.

    ? Participate in standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos and retrospectives

    ? Must be available to support the business as needed including nights, weekends, after hours and on-call

    ? Will train in specific POS and Payment technologies

    Leading candidates will have...

    ? Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred

    ? Good written and verbal communication skills as well as good organizational and problem-solving capabilities

    ? Java programming knowledge and/or experience

    ? SQL, Linux/Unix scripting & command line knowledge and/or experience

    ? Recent graduate to 3+ years previous software development experience

    ? In lieu of the specified education and experience requirements, a proven capability to perform the essential functions of the job, as demonstrated by an equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant work experience may be considered

    ? Hybrid work option available (3 days onsite and 2 days remote)
