The is currently recruiting to fill an Offender Records Supervisor position. This position is based out of Wisconsin Secure Program Facility located in Boscobel, WI, (Grant County).

Position Summary
This position supervises the overall operation of Records Office including the processing of legal actions and providing information to criminal justice agencies and the public as required and/or requested; and supervision of administrative support services for the program services unit.Provision of support services to the program services unit requires that this position consult closely and effectively with the Program Supervisor.Provision of technical services to Persons In Our Care (PIOC), DOC staff and the public.
Salary Information
The starting pay is between $42,099 to $77,584 per year depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the compensation plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code.
The pay schedule/range is
A 12-month probationary period may be required.
Job Details
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.
The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.
The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.
Qualifications
Minimally qualified applicants will have training and or experience in the following:
• Performing complex mathematical calculations/computations, (e.g. performing sentence computations, accounting practices or financial/budgeting.)
• Performing supervisory or leadership role duties (e.g. training, assigning, reviewing, evaluating the work of others etc.)
• Monitoring regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and documents and document management laws.
In addition to the above, well-qualified applicants will have experience with the following:
• Communicating with people outside the organization representing the organization to customers, the public, government and other external sources (i.e. by letter, phone, in person, virtually etc.)
• Researching of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations executive orders, agency rules etc.)
• Analyzing, interpreting and applying state and federal laws, administrative rules and regulations
