    About the Job

    The Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology and the University of Minnesota Medical School invite applications for tenure-track faculty positions. We seek outstanding scientists who will establish a competitive extramurally funded research program that focuses on studies from an integrative molecular to systems physiology perspective. Areas of particular interest include cellular and molecular metabolism, cardiometabolism, cardiovascular and muscle, immunometabolism, and inflammation. Successful applicants will align with and further enrich the department's collective expertise and research interest in areas of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular systems, metabolism, inflammation, systems biology and exercise and muscle physiology, as well as computational biology.

    All faculty levels will be considered.     Qualifications

    Minimum qualifications: Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent in a relevant field of study, plus applicable postdoctoral or faculty experience. A creative and innovative research program is essential, including a high impact publication record; current funding is not required.
