    Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business area is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for a position based in Arlington, TX to support
    THAADProduction at suppliers located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

    This position will require collaborating with a team of multi-functional, Lockheed Martin Expatriates who work full-time in Saudi Arabia and may require occasional international travel.


    Responsibilities include:


    Develop a strong technical understanding of the manufacturing processes applicable to the
    THAADproducts that will be built in KSA including Canister, MRP-T, Transporter, and Cable/Wire Harnesses.


    Partner manufacturing issues discovered in KSA with the applicable Lockheed Martin Production site to drive timely resolution of technical challenges.

    Support the completion of First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with the requirements outlined by AS9102.

    Proactively identify sources of waste and non-conformances. Employ data analysis techniques to create innovative solutions to complex supply chain issues.

    Drive Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations that verify implementation of effective corrective/preventive actions. Lead monthly Corrective Action Boards (CAB) with KSA suppliers.

    Support Supplier requests tied to program requirements, interface with customer needs, and program management activities.

    Drive supplier's failure/diagnosis and strong grasp of Material Review Board (MRB) activities.

    Develop technical solutions to complex problems and provide liaison support related to Quality Engineering matters.

    Ensure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified, and interface with LM Expat team / KSA suppliers daily.

    Review documentation related to supplier manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.


    Excel within a multi-functional supplier Integrated Product Teams with reviews of quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and aging non-conformances.

    This position requires working on-site in Arlington, TX Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each week.

    Basic Qualifications:
    Technical Degree (Bachelors or higher)

    Ability to read and interpret both mechanical 2D drawings, specifications and technical requirements

    Intermediate to Advanced GD&T knowledge and application thereof

    Ability to effectively communicate and interface with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Engineering, Sub-contracts and Government Representative Customers

    Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications

    Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

    Desired Skills:
    Advanced understanding of Quality principles in Aerospace industry

    Complex Machining inspection and controls experience

    Experience with source inspection, surveillance activities, and special process reviews at suppliers

    Experience with First Article Inspections (FAIs)

    Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems

    Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material

    A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P) business systems

    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


    Schedule for this Position:
    4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
