    Job DescriptionUnited Talent Staffing is currently hiring 1st Shift Tig Welder $25/Hr in the Flowery Branch, GA area "Must 4-6 years' experience with sheet metal and Aluminum." "Potential $1.00 raise after 90 days base on performance."

    Job Duties:Job Duties include:
    1. Perform tig welding
    2. Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job.
    3. Execute details of working procedures and materials requirements.
    4. Follow welding procedures best suited to type of work and materials involved and vary techniques to obtain proper penetration, fusion, and strength, offset distortion and maintain alignment.
    5. Fit up complicated but standard structures and weldments involving a considerable number of parts and details, using the clamp and tack method of welding jogs, fixtures and turning rigs.
    6. Weld flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
    7. Weld separately or in combination using stainless steel, carbon steel, and other alloys in variable thickness ranging from .125 to 5 inch
    8. Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded. Sets up, assembles, and tack welds parts.
    9. Use of measuring tools to verify measurements and dimensions, examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
    10. Mark or tag identification on parts per quality standards
    11. Read blueprints and record information such as the number of products tested, meter readings, with dates and times of product production
    12. Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or using hoists
    13. Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
    14. Ensuring safe and clear work environment is maintained
    Pay and Shift: 6a-3pm – 25/HRRequirements: JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High school diploma/ GED
    • 2+ years experience with Tig Welding
    • Knowledge of machine maintenance and operation required
    • Blue prints/measuring tools and calipers
    1. Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred but not required
    2. Attention and care required to prevent injury to others when performing work.
    3. Ability to work in a team environment and have a desire to assist in various duties and departments as needed
