Description

We are looking for experienced CNC Operators for our client in Smithfield, NC. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up and running CNC horizontals, lathes and twin spindles. The CNC Operator will need to be knowledgeable, detail oriented, self sufficient, and task motivated.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC horizontals, lathes and twin spindles
Understands and has knowledge related to using Fanuc, Okuma and Mitsubishi controls to adjust offsets and change programs
Read detailed blueprints
Run parts to print
Gage parts and document critical dimensions every hour
Follow machine safety policies
Complete other duties as assigned
Overtime will be required depending on business needs

Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Skills:

Blueprint reading skills
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, decimals, fractions, conversions)
Ability to use basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, scales)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, twist, kneel, climb, and work in weather extremes

Education:
High School

Experience:

4-7 years

Qualifications:

Minimum 35 years of CNC Machining
Manufacturing
