- Creates and maintains automated test cases. Develops reusable automated routines for a variety of interfaces.
- Demonstrated ability to investigate, analyze, and debug test failures to ensure actionable reporting.
- Executes and reports results of automated test cases in test management tools. Presents reporting of automation progress as requested.
- Establishes/maintains communication with manual testers/teams to ensure new automation and automation maintenance needs are met in appropriate timeframes.
- Configures Jenkins jobs to generate testing results output to integrated system(s).
- Adheres to branching and merging strategy to minimize code conflict.
- Participates in test automation tool analysis and POC's
- Works and the direction of the Test Automation Architect
- Bachelor's degree, preferably technology related and a minimum of 2 years working I.T or a related field
- Proven working experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of automated testing software (especially Selenum Webdriver)
- Excellent understanding of Java classes and functions
- Proficiency with Groovy programing that facilitates Jenkins pipeline jobs is desirable
- Knowledge of Performance/API Testing using JMeter tool
- Intermediate to expert level programming skills in at least one of the following languages – Java, C#
- Experience with – DOS, C-shell/Bash or JavaScript is desirable
- Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps (CI/CT/CD) and associated technologies
- Proficiency with SQL, JSON, XML, source code control
- Experience working with RESTful API implementations
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Motivated, self-directed, results-oriented, and customer-focused
- Detail oriented and possess a desire for quality
- P & C Insurance experience a plus
- Understanding of software development life cycles (SAFe, waterfall, iterative)
- Knowledge of TargetProcess software desirable
