The Assistant/Associate Professor OMM will work with the Chair of Department of Primary Care and assist with planning, directing, and implementation of programs, policies and procedures for the Department to ensure the integration of scientifically based outcome evaluated clinical knowledge and skills biomedical sciences osteopathic principles practice predoctoral postdoctoral students provide service College community students through serving College committees providing leadership mentorship expertise participating community outreach events professional organizations groups assigned Dean Department Chair participate curriculum development assessment modification part Colleges ongoing quality improvement assessment program participate assessment evaluation provide feedback other members faculty component Colleges ongoing quality improvement assessment program assess evaluate students residents provide feedback remedial assistance ensure student ACHE meet standards established faculty college obtain knowledge skills competency required maintain personal professional development plan portfolio documentation teaching professional development activities plans service provided college communities scholarly activity research assure personal growth continued competency specialty field demonstrate highest standard professionalism ethical behavior aspects performance demonstrate adaptability willingness assist college fulfilling mission vision teaching academic administrative duties course system coordinator patient care community service special duties assigned advance prestige ACHE advancement avocation mission visionJob description
