    Description
    The Program Specialist is responsible for coordinating, engaging in, and providing oversight of projects, budgets, processes, and the policies and procedures essential to the success of global and departmental programs.

    Overview:

    The (GPM) is a growing department looking for dynamic professionals who are eager to help implement the (SJG) mission of training the clinical workforce, developing and strengthening health systems and patient-centered initiatives, and advancing knowledge to sustain continuous improvement through research.

    Responsibilities:

    The ARIA Guide Program Specialist will:

  • Administer a program or project.
  • Develop and disseminate communications regarding the program or project.
  • Resolve program-related and/or project-related issues.
  • Track program progress, adoption, or performance and provide ongoing reports to leadership/program sponsors.
  • Track and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations.
  • Support program by identifying process improvement opportunities; Execute program initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.

  • High attention to detail and ability to update multiple data records with accuracy.
  • Proficient proofreader.
  • Able to understand complex workstreams.
  • Efficient time-management skills.
  • Able to work effectively with internal and external teams for this global program.
  • Shows a general understanding of the customer needs and program objectives.
  • Exhibits a working and productive grasp of project management process like scoping, scheduling, milestones, reporting, utilizing various tools (specifically, smartsheet, CRM platforms, Excel, Outlook, etc.), and templates to support program planning and coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to carry out broad assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Strong writing, editing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Cultural sensitivity is a must.

    Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

    • Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of 1+ year(s) experience in program coordination.
  • Proficiency in working with additional project planning tools like Microsoft SharePoint, Mural, Active Campaign, Cvent, is a plus.

    • Compensation

    In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $60,320 - $105,040 per year for the role of Program Specialist, ARIA Guide Program.
