    Elizabeth Rehabilitation and Nursing Center provides a comprehensive array of individualized rehabilitation and nursing services, including short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, memory care and in-patient hospice care.

    St.

    Elizabeth Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is currently seeking a Dietary Aide who provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed by the Director of Nutritional Services in accordance with established policies and procedures.

    The work schedule is 6:00am - 2:30pm.


    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare food under the direction of Cook I/Cook II.
    • Follow safety regulations as directed.
    • Assist in accurate preparation of tray ensuring that tray contents match ticket.
    • Serve food in accordance with the established portion control procedures.
    • Deliver food carts, trays, etc. to units as instructed.
    • Prepare and deliver snacks, nourishments, etc. as instructed.
    • Assist in kitchen clean-up, dishwashing procedures and all assigned cleaning, etc. as directed.
    • Follow Infection Control policies and procedures

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a very warm atmosphere.
    • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the facility.
    • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
    • Requires intermittent sitting, standing, bending, pushing and lifting.
    • Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
