Job Summary
Organizes and coordinates the activities involved to maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including trucks, automobiles, diesel engines etc. Ensures that equipment is maintained according to requirements. Utilizes Computerized Equipment Management System to monitor and control equipment maintenance.
Adevises employees of proper operation and maintenance of equipment trains new mechanics further develops skills of current workers Monitors equipment operation at job site ensues that proper maintenance safety procedures are followed Trains PSL equipment operators in preventive maintenace procedures Orders maintains an adequate inventory parts supplies ensure timely maintenance Promotes safety QIP awareness teamwork.
