As a Contract Nuclear Medicine Technologist with us, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a dynamic work environment.
Position Overview:
As a Contract Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing nuclear medicine procedures, including administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating imaging equipment.
Preparing patients for imaging exams and providing clear instructions throughout the process.
Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses.
Maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Maryland and Delaware.
Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
