Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Health Planner 1, we'll count on you to:
Understanding of healthcare trends. Provide planning, design, and coordination support on projects. Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings. Assist the lead Health Planner in the preparation of presentation drawings, diagrams and narratives. Assist the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and health planning.
Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials.
Perform other duties as needed.Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in architecture or closely related field A minimum of 1 years experience in A/E industry Strong organizational skills Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models Detail-oriented, self-motivated and flexible Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture Master's degree in Architecture Minimum of 1 year healthcare architecture field or two years of a concentrated education in healthcare architecture Architectural registration Minimum 3 years' experience in Health Planning Advanced credentials desired (e.g. ACHA, LEED, EDAC, etc.) Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam) Must be willing to travel.
