    Job Overview

    The Business Intelligence Manager will work directly with a team of developers ensuring the data is properly received, transformed, stored, and accessible, and makes sure that the developers have all the BI tools to deliver business intelligence solutions. This role also works with the business to understand their needs and the most optimal way to effectively communicate our data, it Shields Data Analysts/Developers from being bombarded with reporting and visualization requests.

    This role works closely with the Sr. Manager of BI and Director BI and Strategic Analytics in understanding each business unit in order to provide best in class BI solutions.

    Duties & Responsibilities
    • Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching and training; implementing continuous improvement methods and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership.
    • Works with the Business Intelligence Team to identify opportunities to improve all current processes with advanced analytics, minimizing data prep time to increase Insights and Analysis; Plans, coordinates, and delivers solutions to meet various project requirements and manages the demand for new solutions against capacity
    • Identifies automation opportunities to increase productivity; Creates process/data flow maps of links between systems, current processes, areas of opportunity to improve process flows and new systems to integrate.
    • Communicates assessments and strategies to Sr. BI Manager or Director of BI Reporting & Strategic Analytics in order to increase the team productivity and user engagement; including identifying continuous improvement opportunities to create more efficiency and stronger operations.
    • Defines BI standards, guidelines and best practices for business groups and technical teams; Creates processes and implements governance models around BI systems and data.

    • Functionally competent on multiple software systems including sales systems, data architecture, data processing, data analytics, SQL Management Studio Tableau, PowerBI, Analysis for Office, PowerPivot, Snowflake, SAP Hana, and Alteryx
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 3 to up to 5 years of relevant experience
