    JOB SUMMARY

    The Director, Loyalty Marketing Promotions plays an integral role in driving member engagement and creating marketing programs that drive new member acquisition, incremental revenue and promote the benefits of Marriott Bonvoy.

    This role will support the development and launch of future Loyalty capabilities and Loyalty Business Transformation by spearheading a focus on human centric design and represent the marketing POV throughout the planning, development and go to market of new member experiences.


    This individual will work with a cross functional team to identify requirements, provide input on design and customer experience for capabilities that have been identified and prioritized, while also identifying new opportunities.

    The successful candidate will lead the go to market strategy for new promotion and gamification capabilities, developing marketing strategies that span every stage of the customer journey, member tier and lifecycle driving incremental revenue and increased engagement in Marriott Bonvoy across new and existing offerings.


    This position requires an experienced marketer with a creative mindset, appetite for new technology and innovation, experience in promotion and gamification and the ability to collaborate across functions and geographies in a complex organization.


    CANDIDATE PROFILE
    Education and Experience Required

    4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major

    6+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.

    OR


    8+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.

    Experience in marketing promotion and gamification

    Strong collaboration skills and cross-functional team leadership experience


    CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
    Leads the expansion and promotion of the gamification capability, including member experience, technology, data and communication.

    Develops engaging experiences with compelling incentives that stand out with members and the next-generation consumers.


    Provides thought leadership for gamification strategy and tactical implementation, including challenge and experience design across all stages of the member journey and lifecycle.

    Develops go to market strategy and channel management for launch and sustainment of new capabilities and experiences.

    Provides direction to creative agencies and marketing consulting firms including, but not limited to, brief development, project plans and creative development & execution

    Drives member growth, revenue and engagement with gamified loyalty experiences that are integrated with our existing loyalty system.

    Creates gamified experiences that entice nonmembers to join and members to engage with our digital channels during and outside the stay

    Performance and Results

    Works with marketing and analytics partners to understand and report on promotion effectiveness for internal and external partners.

    Draws insights, and develop strategies and actionable next steps

    Ensures reporting is appropriately distributed to stakeholders and meets their needs.

    Uses data to evaluate opportunities, identifies cost & profitability and develops supporting budget forecasts.

    Understands and meets the needs of key stakeholders.

    Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

    Determines priorities, schedules, plans and necessary resources to ensure completion of any projects on schedule.

    Collaborates with internal and external partners and stakeholders to support business/initiative strategies.

    Communicates concepts in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand.

    Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.

    Demonstrates an understanding of business priorities.
