Systems Integration/Field Service Engineer - Columbia, United States - Kamispro

Description

The Systems Integration/Field Services Engineer will provide support for our client's construction and engineering projects.

Responsibilities often include managing subcontractors, participating in the installation of conveyor systems, testing the equipment, providing training, and performing startup support.

May also inspect equipment and facilities to ensure that they were designed and installed correctly. Duties vary based on the complexity of the installation every project will be a little different.
This position requires travel to various job sites throughout the U.S. approximately 50% of the year. Most of the projects are based in major cities. The bulk of the travel occurs from April through October.

When on the road, you will be eligible for additional compensation based on the longer hours and weekend work required.

Meals, hotel, and travel expenses are paid by the company.
When not on a project site, the engineer will work in our clients Columbia, Maryland, office. He or she will be preparing drawings, documentation, and developing plans for upcoming projects. You will also help to close out existing projects.
All candidates must be able to climb ladders and lift 70 lb. boxes. A track record of success is required - advanced degrees are not.#J-18808-Ljbffr
