    What You'll Do:
    As the Senior Contracts Administrator, you'll be part of our growing corporate contracts team
    This position will offer you the opportunity to apply your critical thinking skills, expert decision-making ability, and government contracts expertise to directly impact the overall success and future growth of ASEC
    This is a full-time, on-site position based in our corporate HQ office in Lexington Park, MD
    The Senior Contracts Administrator will administer both cost-reimbursable and fixed-price contracts (prime and sub) from inception to closeout, ensuring compliance with government contracting requirements
    You will serve as the official repository for all contractual documentation and correspondence relative to assigned contracts
    Specific responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):


    • Assisting directors and program managers unit leaders in achieving their financial and performance goals and objectives
    • Processing funding modifications for additional funds or de-obligating funds for signature when required
    • Conducting contract close-out procedures according to the FAR; handling all applicable duties of close-out and preparing required documentation for signature
    • Managing records of agreements and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
    • Examining contract performance requirements, deliverables, and schedules to ensure timeliness and accuracy
    • Reviewing all correspondence concerning contracts and responding/advising as necessary
    • Aiding in the proposal process for new business to include pricing and analysis of RFP terms and conditions Requirements Contracts Specific Experience: • 5 years of increasingly responsible DoD or federal services-specific contracts administration experience
    • Must have extensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), varying contract types, and phases of contract management
    • Experience using Costpoint is required; bonus points if you have experience using the Contracts, Planning, and Budgeting modules of this system
    • Demonstrated pricing experience is required
    • Experience with contract project control (tracking and reporting)
    • Able to effectively manage cost plus fixed fee (CPFF), time and material (T&M), and firm fixed price (FFP) contracts
    • Experience responding to requests for proposals (RFPs)
    • Experience with managing DoD prime and/or subcontracts in the Navy arena, desired

    You are comfortable working with limited supervision, but you aren't afraid to ask for assistance when you need it
    You are an Excel whiz and are proficient with MS Office, Teams, and SharePoint
    Lastly, you are able to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, and applicable Government regulations

    Security Clearance Requirements:

    • This position requires U.S
    citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance; active Top Secret clearance is preferred
    Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance as it will be ultimately required
