Job summary
We are a fast-paced and growing alcohol wholesaler based in Nevada seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team.This position plays a vital role in supporting both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while also assisting with compliance tax reporting and process improvement.
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both vendors customers Key Responsibilities
- Receive verify process vendor invoices
- Match invoices against purchase orders receiving documentation liPrepare vendor payments
- Maintain vendor master files including W-9s licenses terms VIP Reconcile vendor statements resolve discrepancies duplicate billing Manage return-to-supplier transactions tracking credits issuing authorizations Assist AP accruals reporting 1099 filings Generate send accurate customer invoices apply payments monitor AR aging follow up on past-due balances prepare distribute account statements investigate resolve short payments disputes chargebacks Process credit memos customer adjustments returned NSF payments Set up new customer accounts verifying credit applications alcohol licenses Collaborate sales logistics teams confirm deliveries returns Regularly reconcile customer accounts ensure accuracy completeness Process monthly supplier billbacks accurate documentation pricing Maintain organized accurate APAR documentation audits regulatory review Support internal controls recommend improvements efficiency accuracy Provide APR reporting month-end close aging reports unapplied cash accruals General Department Support

Qualifications
2+ years experience accounts payable accounts receivable general accounting.
Experience wholesale distribution regulated industries preferred.
