Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.6+ years of experience in building cloud services and/or distributed systems and/or network services.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in designing network solutions, distributed systems, and large scale cloud services.Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in team to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams across geos.
Working knowledge of networking and application protocols such as BGP, BFD, TCP/UDP, TLS, HTTP, HTTPS, QUIC.Knowledge of networking technologies such as IPsec, Layer 7 Proxy, Firewalls, Web application protection, Container networking.
Software Engineering ICThere is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
