Description

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the configuration, testing, and optimization of the Epic Cupid module, which is used for managing cardiology-related patient information and workflows.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cardiology staff, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of the Cupid system to streamline cardiology workflows and enhance patient care.

Collaborate with cardiology staff and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for Epic Cupid module implementations, enhancements, and optimizations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Participate in the configuration, testing, and implementation of Cupid system changes, including cardiology order sets, templates, and workflows, to support efficient and effective cardiology operations.

Provide end-user support, troubleshooting issues, and conducting training sessions as needed to ensure efficient and effective use of the Cupid system by cardiology personnel, fostering user adoption and proficiency.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance system functionality, usability, and performance, leveraging best practices and industry standards.

Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation, including system configuration guides, user manuals, and training materials, to support effective system utilization and knowledge transfer across the organization.

Stay current with industry trends and developments in cardiology information management, cardiology procedures, and healthcare information technology to inform system optimizations and enhancements, contributing to the organization's strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

3+ years of experience working in cardiology operations or healthcare information systems, with a strong understanding of cardiology processes and workflows.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, effectively addressing operational challenges and improving workflow efficiency.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including cardiologists, nurses, administrators, IT professionals, and external vendors.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines, maintaining accuracy and consistency in system configuration and documentation.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment, adapting to changing priorities and effectively managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
