    As the Shift Manager, you will lead our operations departments, overseeing the integration of production, packaging, sanitation, and maintenance activities.

    Your focus will be on maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.

    Your leadership will ensure that employees receive ongoing training in safety, quality, and food safety, ensuring compliance with AIB standards for GMPs, HACCP, Food Defense, and BRC.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Direct and coordinate all operational activities within the plant to ensure strict compliance with food safety standards.

    Champion GMP, HACCP, Food Defense, and BRC programs, conducting internal audits and leading monthly meetings.

    Train and motivate employees, fostering a culture of excellence in quality, production, and safety.

    Engage in food safety audits with AIB, RIDOH, and FDA to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

    Oversee production and packing supervisors and line leads, ensuring cohesive operations throughout the plant.

    Collaborate with maintenance and sanitation leaders to optimize plant performance.

    Lead weekly plant meetings to set performance goals and communicate achievements.

    Develop training agendas and ensure adherence to critical control points and food safety training.

    Drive continuous improvement and compliance with food safety standards.


    Job Qualifications:
    Relevant college degree preferred; extensive experience in the food industry can substitute for formal education.

    Minimum 5 years of experience in food processing and packaging, with a strong understanding of HACCP, GMPs, and SOPs.

    Proven track record of supervising and managing personnel for a minimum of 5 years.

    Proficiency in MS Office Suite; fluency in Spanish is a significant plus.

    Demonstrated ability to lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and food safety.

    Experience with ERP systems beneficial but not required.
