    Since 1898, AECOM Tishman has managed the construction of some of the worlds most iconic buildings. We employ a diversified preconstruction and construction management staff of structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers; architects; technology specialists; scheduling and cost control personnel; and construction estimators and accountants. We provide expert consultation and guidance in all phases of a building project, from master-planning, preconstruction options evaluation and decision-making, to design review, estimating, and scheduling, through procurement, construction and occupancy. AECOM Tishmans staff manages all consultants and contractors on a project, representing client interests throughout the project cycle. In total, AECOM Tishman has built more than 900 million square feet including the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, One World Trade Center in New York.

    **Job Description**

    AECOM/Tishman, a leading builder in the City of New York, has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Electrical Estimator to join our team.

    + Responsible for management of the Material Cost Estimation function.

    + Has primary responsibility for supervision and development of first level Supervisors/Managers.

    + Responsible for the employment, training, motivation and discipline of the supervisory/management team.

    + As a senior manager, establishes operational objectives and work plans, delegates assignment to subordinate managers.

    + Review objectives to determine success of operation.

    + Develops, modifies, executes company polices that affect immediate operations and may have company-wide effect.

    + Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

    + Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

    Familiar with estimating all elements of the Electrical trades including:

    + Electrical

    + Tel/Data and Low Voltage systems

    + Site utilities and distribution

    **Qualifications**

    **Minimum Requirements:**

    + BS Engineering/Construction Manager or related curriculum and 10 years of progressive experience estimating construction projects for a large vertical GC or contractor or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    **Preferred** **requirements:**

    years demonstrated construction experience.

    + Demonstrated construction experience in estimating Electrical trades.

    + Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing and to work with multi stakeholders.

    + Familiarity / Proficiency with the following software or internet-based programs: Blue Beam, OST, MS Excel, MS Word

    + Ability to read and take-off Electrical systems, Tel-Communication systems, BMS, Security and Fire Alarm systems.

    + Strong mathematic aptitude.
