    Summary of Position:

    The Electrical Assembler Technician is responsible for performing electrical installations on all products with an ability to troubleshoot, service, diagnose failures and make repairs on electrical and / or other systems. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and manufacturing background, experience following standards and reading prints, and thrive in a fast past repetitive environment.

    Qualifications & Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • 2 years of demonstrated electrical experience.
    • Accredited certificate in low or medium voltage equipment.
    • Experience in the manufacturing and / or maintenance oil and gas industry working with low and medium voltage electrical equipment is a plus.
    • Proficient ability to calibrate, test, troubleshoot and install instrumentation and / or electrical equipment.
    • Ability to read prints.
    • Ability to manage time in a manufacturing environment.
    • Follow all safety processes and procedures.
    • Ability to properly utilize required PPE.
    • Ability to safely utilize hand tools.
    • Demonstrates quality work through accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
    • Exhibits efficiency in problem solving by identifying & resolving problems in a timely manner.
    • Exhibits adaptability by positive response to frequent change, delays, or unexpected occurrences.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Installs, repairs, or replaces parts in controllers, switchboards, switches, conductors, or other electrical devices.
    • Tests solid state circuitry to determine defective parts in digital and analog equipment.
    • Installs enhancements and major upgrades to electrical subsystems.
    • Programming VFD, PLC, and other control systems.
    • Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret drawings / specifications and work instructions.
    • Installs required components utilizing current assembly practices.
    • Operates and effectively uses hand and power tools and all applicable measure equipment.
    • Organizes, coordinates, and cleans workstation.
    • Maintains a personal commitment to the Liberty safety culture.
    • Completes any required assembly paperwork.

    Working Conditions/Environment:
    • Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
    • Shop & outside work as required.
    • Regularly exposure to cold, heat, dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
    • Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, reaching, etc. with arms, hands, and fingers.
    • Requires frequent repetitive motion, i.e., turning wrenches, hammering, screwdrivers, impact tools, etc.
    • Requires crawling and working in narrow spaces.
    • Requires to work at a minimum height of four feet above ground level.
    • Requires to operate overhead cranes, mobile equipment and motor vehicles as required.
    • Ability to properly and safely lift 50 lbs.
    Salary:

    $20/HR - $40/HR

    Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
