    Selectek is partnering with a company near
    Orlando, Florida to hire a
    Structural Engineer on a full-time basis.

    This firm specializes in commercial and residential projects, so candidates will need a background in wood and masonry structures, as well as foundation and framing systems.


    Employment Type:
    Direct Hire


    Location:
    Orlando, FL

    Expected Pay Range:
    $60,000-$90,000 based on experience and certifications

    Job Duties:

    • Design of commercial and residential projects from concept to final design
    • Prepare calculations and details of structural elements
    • Draft project plans in AutoCAD as necessary
    • Assist with construction support activities such as RFI's, job site reviews and design revisions
    • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors and vendors to ensure projects progress smoothly

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
    • EIT license in Florida
    • 25 years of experience working with wood and masonry structures
    • Strong background in wood/masonry structures, framing systems, foundation analysis/design (both shallow/spread and deep), and metal plateconnected wood trusses
    • Experience with concrete projects up to three stories
