Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information, using electronic health record (EHR) systems. 4. Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures and treatments. 5. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, caregivers, and other healthcare providers. 6. Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and other healthcare facilities as needed. 7. Prepare and organize patient charts and medical documents for physician review. 8. Assist physicians with administrative tasks, such as drafting correspondence, completing forms, and managing paperwork. 9. Manage clinic schedules and ensure efficient utilization of resources, including exam rooms and medical equipment. 10. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. 11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations. 12. Perform general office duties, such as filing, faxing, photocopying, and ordering supplies.

    **Qualifications:** 1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. 2. Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting, preferably in neurology or oncology. 3. Proficiency in medical terminology, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues. 5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. 6. Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in stressful situations. 7. Knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes preferred. 8.
