- Coordinates the exchange of information as needed for tracking and managing the gas operations of the company. Provides information for customer operator nominations and communication to customers, their agents, and utility agents related to usage, forecasts, imbalances, entitlements, and curtailments.
- Develops and is responsible for maintaining good working and operating relationships with counterparties, pipeline representatives, customers (both internal and external) and customers' agents/suppliers. Organize and maintain data required to support resource accounting operations with regards to pipeline statements and actual volumes.
- Responsible for nominating and scheduling all-natural gas purchases and sales on six transportation pipeline systems including interconnecting distribution systems.
- This includes nominations for transportation customers, system supply, storage, and off system sales.
- Develops and is responsible for preparation and accuracy of daily load forecasts.
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics or related discipline preferred but not required.
- 3 years of experience with Natural Gas scheduling in the Western US and Canada preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of gas scheduling, gas control, customer management, relevant pipeline tariff provisions and computer applications.
- Broad knowledge of gas planning, engineering, fuel supply, natural gas load characteristics and operations is helpful.
