    Summary

    The focus of this position is on helping our team with developing new intelligent testing techniques for software containers. We are specifically seeking a candidate with research publication in software containers. You'll tackle real-world software quality assurance challenges through innovative machine learning solutions. Collaborate with experts in software engineering, artificial intelligence and beyond at the University of Michigan-Flint and collaborating institutes from automotive industry.

    Responsibilities*
    • Conduct research and experimentation to optimize Docker containers using machine learning
    • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams from the University of Michigan-Flint and partner institutions
    • Participate in regular meetings and discussions to exchange ideas, provide updates on project progress, and solicit feedback for continuous improvement
    • Document methodologies, results, and findings in technical reports and academic publications for dissemination within the scientific community
    Required Qualifications*
    • Master degree in Computer Science or a related field with interest in software engineering with a track record of publications at top-tier conferences/journals in the field
    • Strong knowledge in Docker containers with experience in machine learning
    • Excellent programming skills
    Work Schedule

    Appointment will begin May 1 and continue until the end of the summer semester.
