    Description

    LAB ADMINISTRATOR OPENING FOR A GREAT PHARMA COMPANY

    M-F Day Shift (Open to flexible start time between 7am-9am) 40hr a week

    Description:

    • Assist study leads with combination drug-device assembly and test sample preparation.
    • Coordinate gamma irradiation runs (at 3rd party vendor).
    • Assist study leads with in vitro release study preparation, daily sampling and media replacements.
    • Handle receiving materials on site and domestic/international shipping (including hazardous materials).

    Secondary Activities:

    • Enable new equipment purchase/implementation and decommissioning/removal of unnecessary or obsolete equipment.
    • On-site contact person for general laboratory maintenance and facility-related work requests
    • Work in conjunction with the Safety Team to dispose of lab waste when needed and ensure all safety related issues are promptly addressed.
    • Monitor space needs, including benches, shelving/storage, temperature-controlled storage, secondary containment and ensure that needs are met.
    • Maintain laboratory cleaning schedule and organize clean-outs as needed.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • 2 or 4 year degree - sciences or engineering field.
    • Have experience in a lab and knowledge of basic lab safety and documentation.
    • Demonstrate independence in deciding when to do what and how to prioritize tasks.
    • Lab supervision background would be a plus
