    IT Infrastructure Technical Project Manager - PMP Required | 20291

    Hybrid - 3-4 Days on-site

    Contract: 6 months with extension

    TECHEAD is looking for a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager with PMP for one of our clients to manage a variety of contracts on-site hybrid in Richmond, VA.

    Responsibilities:

    • Driving execution across Engineering initiatives, Product, Operations, and external teams and deliver complex IT projects coordinating with multiple teams and work streams to an aggressive delivery schedule.
    • Maintain project budget, plans, tasks, schedules, risks, and status and disseminate information to team members and customers as defined in the communications plan.
    • Serve as a hands-on technical project manager with development staff and business groups to support the implementation, scaling, and operating of various platforms.
    • Collaborate with vendors, internal project teams, and VSPs external partners in the execution of projects including contract management and working with the procurement division.
    • Adhere to project management practices and governance requirements.
    • Provide the management of project milestones and deliverables for on-time and on-budget delivery. Regularly present project updates to IT leadership and various audiences.
    • Define, measure, and clearly communicate progress with metrics.
    • Develop resource plan and track resources over the course of a project.
    • Ensure efficient execution and timely delivery across multiple work streams.
    • Facilitate decision making and problem solving to remove impediments for the teams.
    • Identify and report risks and blockers to execution in a timely manner.
    • Drive prioritization conversations between teams.
    • Build strong relationships, work closely with, and drive communication across both internal and external teams to ensure alignment

    Requirements:

    • 7 + years of project experience in IT infrastructure delivery, network and server infrastructure, knowledge of Cloud implementations, and vendor management.
    • MUST have PMP certification through PMI
    • Manage and deliver complex IT project(s) with multiple teams and work streams coordinated to an aggressive delivery schedule.
    • Familiarity with network technologies (switches, firewalls, circuits, etc.) standards and practices.
    • Manage projects consisting of Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or IT Infrastructure components (Servers, storage, OS upgrades, networking, software installs, vulnerability remediation, etc.)
    • Experience managing large multi-stream projects
    • Experience in various software development methodologies.
    • Preferred experience with Agile.
