Secure our Nation, Ignite your Future ManTech is seeking a Program Security Officer for our Herndon, VA locationWithin a team of security professionals, be a Program Security Officer responsible for program and personnel security support for multiple programs across DoD and Intelligence Community partners
In this position the Program Security Officer will engage daily with program personnel, security team members and leadership at all levels
You must be able to communicate effectively, pay attention to detail, be efficient and able to learn new processes quickly
You will be required to update our Security database SIMS, submit, and work tickets through a ServiceNow workflow
As a Program Security Officer, you will also support proposals through clearance verifications, team reviews and authoring security volumes as required
This is on site in Herndon, VA 4x a week
Responsibilities to include but not limited to: Ensuring security compliance with contractual requirements Customer assessments/inspections Collateral and SCI clearance and access processing for DoD and IC customers via DISS and customer systems Managing and supporting subcontractors Completing DD254s Ensuring security compliance with contractual requirements Assist with changing combos (when needed) and adding/removing personnel from Access Control and Alarm systems for new hires and departing personnel Security Prescreens Clearance Verifications Access Control and badging Visitor Control Personnel and Physical Security file maintenance Document Control Additional security tasks as required by Customer Security Education and Experience: 2+ years' experience processing security clearances Applicant must be knowledgeable in all disciplines of personnel security along with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Security Clearance:
Can start with TS/SCI but need to be able to obtain a CI Poly once on board
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situation For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
