    Sibley Memorial Hospital is a full-service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers

    General Summary:

    • Inspects, cleans, assembles and sterilizes surgical instrument sets. Operates cleaning and sterilization equipment in order to clean instruments and supplies. Is proficient in the technical and quality performance metrics. Guides and assists IP I's and IP II's. Performs QA audits.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
    • Minimum three years instrument processing experience required. Must have demonstrated competence in all instrument set assembly and sterilization to include all specialties
    • CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management) certification, CRCST or CBSPD and CER or CFER, 2 certifications
